Buying tickets at the train station

  • You can always buy the tickets at the train station. Most bigger stations have an international counter where you can buy the tickets.
  • Usual open times are from 4 am till at least midnight (not the local stations).
  • One-way 2nd class ticket costs 55 EUR, single 1st class ticket costs 88 EUR.
  • Seat reservations are sold separately (cost about 4 EUR).

Does Train 101 from Prague to Salzburg pass through Germany at all? (I am interested in getting an Eastern Europe Rail pass and want to avoid going through Germany, which is not covered by the pass)
