Is it possible to travel from pilsen to Munich? Will this train from Prague make a stop at Pilsen? If so, how much is the ticket? Thank you.

Pavel Hajek - info(at)czech-transport.com - 2009-03-12

Yes, both trains will stop at Pilsen (in Czech it is Plzeň). The regular one-way ticket without discounts from Pilsen to Munich is 47,40 EUR (now 1328 CZK)

For the direct train from Prague to Munich are there discounted rates for youths or people travelling as a couple? Cheers

Pavel Hajek - info(at)czech-transport.com - 2009-05-29

There is no discount for young people or couples. There are group discounts (6 pax and more) and return discounts.

Can you tell me how far in advance you can buy train tickets from Prague to Munich? I would like to buy a ticket for September 26, but they don't seem to be on sale yet. I'm worried that it might be difficult to get a ticket since I'm traveling during Oktoberfest. Thank you.

Pavel Hajek - info(at)czech-transport.com - 2009-06-02

Jeremy:
I think you can buy it 2 months in advance (which is more than sufficient, do not worry).

Hi,

My wife and I are traveling to Pilsen and would like to take the train from there to Munich. Can I just get the tickets directly in Pilsen on the day we leave or should I get the tickets ahead of time? Thank you for your response.

Pavel Hajek - info(at)czech-transport.com - 2009-06-24

Onard: Yes, you can get the tickets the day you travel at the train station.
